i was just super freaking nervous.
time seemed to be running out real quick and i wasnt sure if i knew how to do the questions.
so i was like freaking out lah.

- was the only person who asked for extra solution X cause i split 1 cup of it.
- asked for extra graph paper cause i tore it while erasing.
- and i erased so many times cause i drew the axis-es of the graphs the wrong way round so many times.
- broke a testube.

practically slacked my ass off during the break till 2+
all i did was just kope alot of deniseleong's food and talked ALOT OF CRAP.


had lunch with deniseleong.

kallang theatre is such a horrible venue, i rather have it at school, but the concert was still great.

the result was nothing unexpected at all and italy won the penalty shootout only because of that french player's miss.
france is supersupersuper unlucky- you lose your star players, you missed 2 veryvery close goals near the end of extra time and 1 penalty hit the crossbar but didnt go pass the line.
and italy is supersupersuper lucky- only have to get pass australia and ukraine to go semis, somemore only win by penalty at the 93rd min, so lucky can notice a slack in the german's defence and make use of it in the last 2 mins, then win not cause your penalties damn good but because the french player suey.

no wonder i fell asleep lah.
and there was nothing really perky about the game, unlike the germany games!
the german fans are always SINGING AND CHEERING AND SUPPORTING THE TEAM and the germany games are always very lively and noisy, esp when germany is heading towards the goal.
but non-germany matches are as silent as a grave.
i'm not used to silent games, it doesnt even feel normal when i dont hear cheers.
no wonder i fell asleep somewhere in the match lah.
BUT NONETHELESS, yes italy deserved the win for the match more than france.

THE GOALS WERE FANTASTIC.
1st goal: schweinsteiger- he like brought the ball around the players and he was like metres from the penalty box, and BAM the ball shot right into the net.
2nd goal: free kick by schweinsteiger- he shot it nice and hard and the portugal defender couldnt keep it out with its speed and angle and he kind of like shot it in instead and it became an own goal.
3rd goal: schweinsteiger AGAIN- he practically did the same thing like the first goal and shot in yet another beautiful box metres from the penalty box, and this time the shot was even more difficult for the goalie to catch.
AND BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER GOT MAN OF THE MATCHHHHHHHHHH :D

and they even have 14 goals now!
3 more than any other team with just sunday's final to play.
and they have so many beautiful goals too!
lahm's goal against costa rica, it was shot right in from the left side of the field outside the penalty box.
fring's goal against costa rica, shot it straight in from outside the penalty box.

klose's goal against ecuador, the one that mertesacker kicked the from the left all the way towards the right and schweinsteiger ran up to spin it towards klose before it went out for a goalkick.

today was a relatively good day.
depends on how you see it.
school was fun.
took my mind off things for awhile.
but when i picked up the newspaper it was a whole different thing.

but i did think that kehl should have been sub-ed off instead of borowski.
and the germans just didnt have the attacking flair and spirit they did in the past few matches, and you could see in klinsmann eyes that he knew so too.
at least lehmann was keeping out all the shots and germany was trying real hard to score.
but just at the last min, lehmann had to let one in.
it was a good game.
the italians played well, and the germans were trying their utmost best.
but i just wished the result wasnt so.
the germans were hoping so fucking hard to win the trophy and it just sucks when your hopes come crashing down.
this year germany had to be the team that were cleaning up the big teams to reach the world cup.
they had to knock off argentina just to reach the semi-s and all that hard work has gone to waste because they couldnt hold on for 2 more mins against italy.

I had to play on even though I had cramp, as we'd already brought on our three substitutes. It might not have been the prettiest match to watch, and we weren't at our best in front of goal, but tactically neither team made many mistakes. Penalties always comes down to luck. We knew that we could turn the tide if we went behind. We're in the semis now, which probably no-one was expecting. It was party-time in the changing room – we were dancing around, there was music playing, it was real fun. It was so good, the way the lads just stepped up and calmly slotted the penalties in. We respect all of the teams left in the competition, but we aren't afraid of any of them. We owe Italy one as well. Today was a typical draw. The game was a war of attrition. We had to give it our all today, and turned the match in our favour at the end.

Germany weren't better than us and the game was decided by the smallest of details. For me, we’ve had a disappointing tournament because we’ve been knocked out. That said, I’m very proud to be part of this group. I’m not really bothered who wins it now to be honest. I support Argentina and that’s it.

Carlos TEVEZ (ARG)
Naturally I’m very angry - we’ve just been eliminated. The fact that we played well doesn’t make it feel any better either. They attacked twice and scored a goal but Argentina were the better side. We put in a good performance but it doesn’t mean anything because we lost, and there’s nothing that has happened today that will make me feel any better about it.

Gabriel HEINZE (ARG)
It hurts a lot to lose like that. We didn’t deserve it but we gave it all we had. I really don’t know why we lost. And don’t ask me if I think Germany will win the World Cup or not because the truth is I really couldn’t care less.

Javier MASCHERANO (ARG)
We tried to play and represent the country as well as we could. I’ve got nothing to say because if you watch the game you’ll see that we were the better team. We showed we’re up there with the best teams in the world, and in my opinion there’s no such a thing as justice in football.

Roberto AYALA (ARG)
We’ve had a great World Cup and we were a great side, one that improved with every game, but now we’ve got nothing to show for it. We shouldn’t be hard on ourselves, though, and we can look ourselves in the mirror and go home proud of what we’ve done. I think the last ten minutes were vital to us not winning the game. That’s when we lost a little control and let Germany get an equaliser.

Leonardo FRANCO (ARG)
For me, I thought we played well. Losing is all part of the game but you always need some luck and we didn’t get any. They kept their heads better than we did in the penalties. We missed out and there’s nothing we can do about it now. All the same, we have to keep things in proportion because they weren’t better than us.

Julio CRUZ (ARG)
The dream is over, and it’s very hard to say that. We’ve done well overall, even though we all hoped we could get further. Although we know we lost, Germany weren’t better than us. They just had more luck in the penalties, that’s all.

Esteban CAMBIASSO (ARG)
We’re still standing tall. We outclassed them and we can go home with our heads held high.

it'll be an all european world cup from now onwards and i'm so proud of them!

germany is manymany steps closer to the world cup :D
but i'm feeling paranoid and i think better not say so soon.
they have to get pass italy, which i'm suddenly getting scared of.
i watched the repeat of the italy vs ukraine match today, and they dominated and shot in 3 nice goals.
then there's portugal/france.
the portugal match was kind of boring, but they still won england, and thats what matters!
its either you win or you dont.
no such thing as deserving losers.
if you deserved it, then why didnt you win it.
its so ironic.
anyways, france was really great today!
brazil were bursting with energy especially in the beginning, but france controlled the game in the 2nd half and made sure brazil would make an early departure.
i'm real proud of them, although i dont support them and i think thier new jersey needs some serious changes, but they seriously deserved to win this match and proved to even people like me who doubted them, that they are improving and improving fast (:

qian and i were totally msning during the whole of the match.
we only have each other because everyone keeps suaning us and germany.
somemore lois choa sms me and was saying how rough germany was.
ok maybe in the 1st half they had quite abit of fouls.
but at the end of the game, it was argentina with 32 fouls and germany with 23.
HAHA.
and suddenly after germany won, almost the whole argentina team was trying to attack the german team but were stopped by officials.
i wish they didnt do that, and retained some sportsmanship.

okies so argentina scored with a corner during the 49 min.
and like we were giving up hope and stuff.
BUT KLOSE [I LOVE YOU KLOSE] CAME AND HEADED IN A GOAL FOR GERMANY DURING THE 80TH MIN :D:D
klose has maintained the post of top scorer in this world cup with 5 goals! :D
and then the game was damn tense.
germany then argentina, it was so even till the end of extra time.
but i have to admit germany was very disappointing today.
they were slow
they were passing horribly
they were not running and fighting for the ball
but it doesnt matter, cause argentina is the one going home.

it went into penalties and the german penalties were GORGEOUS.
even the commentator said that they were perfect penalties.

ok today was a bad day.
things were going wrong for me and i was so scared that my bad luck would affect germany.
and when they were losing at first i was damn freaking demoralised.
BUT TAKE THAT, THEY CAME FROM THE BACK.
AND SHOT IN THE 4 MOST BEAUTIFUL PENALTIES IN THE WORLD.
but i do pity argentina.
cause it was such a cruel way to get out of the world cup.
they were favourties and they were leading.
but they had to be stunned by an early goal and had to have 2 of their penalties stopped.
they deserve recognition for their hardwork, and for this heres a picture from their mexico round 2 match.

he seriously deserved it.
he was injured and there was a point where he couldnt walk and had to crawl to the sidelines for medical treatments.
but he still held on through the extra time and he was still willing to do penalty :D
