BACK FROM JAPAN OMG
im devastated HAHA.
i was so sad when we landed at changi, ended up comparing changi airport to the tokyo narita airport HAHA (the changi carpets are hideous)
well it was one hell of a trip, had fun the past week (:
met new people, shopped without considering prices (but still didnt buy enough ARGH I REGRET), filled myself with jap food (unfortunately not as much as i would like CAUSE I HAD NO APPETITE ARGH), night explorations and totally fell in love with japan (:
I LOVE JAPAN.
i even bought a shirt that said that :D
i swear i love that place <3
the heated toilet bowls, their clean and self flushing squating toilets (i actually like squating toilets now), shops at every corner and alley, polite service, beautiful scenery etcetc
im not going to spam pictures cause that is INSANE.
god knows how many bloody pictures my family has taken, so i shall just talk about highlights of the week and like introduce some stuff i bought HAHAHAHHAA
but it was just a great trip - good mix of shopping, scenery (trees, snow, mountains, seas etc), interesting places (fox farms, bear ranches, music box shop, handicrafts factory etc etc), food (overwhelming number of dishes set meals, seafood hot pots oh yea oh yea, udon, bbq, hokkaido ice cream, ramen etc), nights (till morning) of fun company and the super duper interesting and exciting jap culture HAHA
and i used to think jap guys were damn ugly BUT NO THEY ARE NOT HAHAHA
ive seen a fair share of cute guys and even if some are not very good looking, they TOTALLY make it up with their style
and the girls are so pretty omgggg
and there was once this hotpot place we went for lunch was filled with like THOUSANDS of city school kids (probably my age) and THEY WERE FREAKING STYLO MILO MAN
i was like whoaaaaaaaaaaaaa HAHAHHAA
DAY ONE
some ulu country area of hokkaido HAHAHA
roamed the deserted surroundings of the hotel with my parents HAHAHA
hot spring <3<3 (felt so good man)
watched some cool jap shows that i never knew about in singapore (time to youtube/crunchyroll them!)
DAY TWO
alot of snow covered scenery (:
snowed like crap :D
stayed at some hot spring resort (but i swear it reminded me of some haunted ski resort in some jap show HAHAHAHHAA)
and that night was the first time the 'kids' (same generation) in my tour group started hanging out HAHA
ranging from sec3 to just out of army and consisting of many diff educational institutes, i believe we had a good time with indian poker and army ghost stories as our first night together (:
DAY THREE
sapporo (capital of hokkaido i think HUR)
FUN
totally loved that place (:
great mix of city plus the lovely jap shops along the streets
night was spent with tour people again, this time exploring the city
started off looking for ramen, ended up getting ramu (lamb) and sake <3
got ripped off by some harmless looking old lady selling sweet potatoes and corns, laughed at secretary and cabaret clubs, explored the city till 2am and another dose of army related ghost stories HAHA
OOPS SORRY MAN
i just had to add this in HUR HUR.
i think the specs are DAMN CUTE, SI WON HAS SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAHAHA
I WISH I GOT IT ARGHHHHHHHHHHH
and notice my hands HAHA
DAY FOUR
hakodate
its more of some port place
stayed at some merlion hotel HAHAHA
roamed again the area (low rise wide spread buildings but surprisingly interesting)
from curry rice shops, scary looking temples to mega super cool hypermart (selling ALLLLLLLLL sorts of crap TOTALLY TOTALLY LOVE IT- bought japanese lantern boxers to wear at home)
i wish i bought more stuff from that place, we spent like hours there HAHA and taking crappy photos
DAY FIVE
tokyo
<3<3<3
asakura is like this old alleys near alot of temples
it's beautiful at night with all the people, items on sale and lights
bought a hell lot of crap i think HAHA
then some shopping district- i totally love japan's concept of huge departmental stores amongst push carts/super markets/shops/lanes and alleys
had a great time there with my family <3
nice hotel at the top of some hill
explored the area with tour people again
we tried walking towards the tokyo tower but halfway we lost sight of it HAHAHA
explored scary looking gardens in the hotel and slacked at the bar with mocktails, cocktails and cai quan
the rest of them extended till monday and the last afternoon in japan was spent shopping at a big shopping centre (they call it supermarkets HAHAA) near the airport and at the airport itself (and i satisfied the fangirl in me by purchasing an expensive jap magazine that i cant understand a single word of it and was filled with tons of pictures of cute celebrities HAHA) arrived home at midnight (sat, dec1)
and technically i should be a zombie cause its 2.42am, sunday morning 2nd dec and ive barely had sleep the past week thanks to (my dad's really bad snoring, late nights out and early morning calls)
but i dont think ill be sleeping anytime soon HAHA
ive like wide awake and still feeling the japan love man <3
and ive been sleeping very inappropriately, barely clocking in sleep when i should be and sleeping like a pig on all the bus rides HAHA
i shall continue looking through the pictures taken in japan (:
OYASUMI (i think it means goodnight HAHA)
some shit i bought
ok anymore more pictures next time!
