hello :D

i just hardcored muse music for the past few hours.
i've been watching all their performances during the reading festival in uk in aug.
like i have like 85% of the videos of the fest in youtube so i just oneshot watched all, it's like watching the whole concert :D

gosh it was FANTASTIC.
definitely one of their biggest gigs after the 04 glastonburg one.
like it was tens of hundreds of thousands of people.
it looks bigger than orchard road or something.
and muse are very artistic people.
the bold lights and lasers.
the normal concert musthaves of raining and shooting sparks things.
definitely some extra special effects that has never been used in any concert before.
they even wanted to have this ufo thing fly over the whole place but ah the officals didnt allow that ):

AND OF COURSE THE MUSIC WAS GOOD.
i reallyreally love their music.
it sounds great.
black holes and revelations really summarise their music.
the title DOES HAVE MEANING YOU KNOW.
not like other albums.
like jojo's album or something, called JOJO.
gosh how ego can you get.

btw, muse has very good album names and covers!
their first was called hulaboo.
HAHAHAHHAHAHA.
they are very funny and witty people too.
and matt believes in aliens and those sort of stuff.
which is cool.
i mean, i kind of believe in other forms of life too.
but he really believes.
HAHAHA.
thats damn funny.
he once cancelled a interview in us cause it was reported that an asteroid was going to hit us but it veered its course and will most likely only hit around 2030.
he's into new theories and politics, me too!
he speaks very fast and he laughs ALOT.
ME TOO!

these are taken from an article on muse:

And then there is Matt Bellamy. Over the years, he has developed a reputation as a bit of a fruitcake: perhaps an unavoidable side-effect of cancelling interviews on the grounds of imminent asteroid-related apocalypse and telling the NME you believe in the theories of Zecharia Sitchin, a writer who claims the human race evolved as a result of visiting aliens carrying out genetic experiments on apes. Today, he pronounces himself a fan of David Icke's recent book, Tales from the Time Loop: The Most Comprehensive Expose of the Global Conspiracy Ever Written and All You Need to Know to Be Truly Free ("the first few chapters give you a really good concise history of conspiracy theories, but the last few chapters are all claiming George Bush is the fifth cousin twice removed of the Queen, so he lost me a bit there"). He says that if he weren't in Muse he would "probably be a full-time conspiracy theorist", and launches into a lengthy and impassioned harangue about global finance: "It's absolute fucking corruption and enslavement and that's what we live in," he says, before checking himself. "Anyway, I'm starting to slide down the hill. It's a slippery slope, and before you know it, you're on about lizards controlling the world."

Bellamy delivers it in an earnest, high-speed chatter. On the other, he regularly punctuates it with a high-pitched and rather mischievous sounding giggle: "Hih-hih-hih-hih!" He is clearly both fiercely intelligent and genuinely interested in what he calls "the massaging of information by governments and the media"

In any case, he has other things to preoccupy him. He has vague plans for Muse to write and perform an extended classical-inspired instrumental piece. There are beserker fans to worry about, and a new live show to plan for. "I'm getting a piano this time that's on wheels, so I can wheel it on," he enthuses. "No, it's not going to move about when I play it. Well possibly it is." His eyes light up, his speech gets faster than ever. "It could skid a bit. They could wheel me out when I'm playing. That would be brilliant."

but matt is a VERY FUNNY AND SEXY fruitcake ranking 29 on the top 100 sexiest rockers :D

second was origins of symmetry.
third was absolution.
and fourth black holes and revelations.
black holes means like songs that come from like black holes, god knows where.
unknown and unusal places and therefore the music is unique, interesting, different and most likely damn freaking creative.
seriously, most of muse's songs are very one of its kind that you have probably never heard anything like that before.
revelations means like the songs with more personal experience and self discovery sort of things like starlight.
what a sweet song :D
stupid italian girlfriend ARGH.

well all the songs during the concert were fantastic!
i LOVED ALL OF THEM.
and they never fail to top every performance, none are disappointing.
there's a reason why they consistently win best live act.
heck about the charts lah who cares if you sound good in a metal disk, you should be good live on stage.
but of course reports have shown they practically double their popularity and fan base with the release of every album.
their lastest album top-ed the uk, us, australia and like other european countries.
and debuted in us at number 9.
and of course they debuted in uk at NUMBER ONE.
like BOOM NUMBER ONE HAHAHAHHAA.
and it stayed at number 1 for 3 whole weeks.
then it dropped abit by abit to like number 9 then it went upppppp to number 5 then dropped abit by abit to like 13 and now it went up to 8 again.
MAN uk just doesnt want to let muse go AHAHAHHA :D
all professional reviews of the album gave nothing less than 4 stars and of course there were alot of 4.5 and 5 stars lah :D
and they are popular in japan too!
WHY NOT IN SINGAPORE ):
their album sales of black holes and revelation in about 2 months were double the number of albums sold of their previous album in 2 years.
and its not cause they wont popular THEN, they have had concerts in japan, they just got EVEN MORE POPULAR :D
there's a reason why they are like the top 3 legendary british bands alongside radiohead and coldplay :D
and they are favourites along with the artic monkeys to win the famous british award- the mecury award.

ah okok you get it.
i really like muse :D
ok here's a video of map of problematique during the reading festivals.
couldnt decide which was the best but this is definitely a good one!
good summary of their music.
space age music with legendary guitar riffs, political stuff and good old rock.
the last 30 seconds was AWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME!

Fear and panic in the air
I want to be free
From desolation and despair
And I feel like everything I sow
Is being swept away
Well I refuse to let you go

I can't get it right
Get it right
Since I met you

Loneliness be over
When will this loneliness be over?

Life
Will flash before my eyes
So scattered and lost
I Want To Touch The Other Side
And No one thinks they are to blame
Why can't we see
That when we bleed we bleed the same

I can't get it right
Get it right
Since I met you

Loneliness be over
When will this loneliness be over?

Loneliness be over
When will this loneliness be over?

ah i want to change my blog template.
it makes the words so weird and small and closed together.
such a turn off and i dont even want to read my own entries ):
