wah i dont even talk about how i spent my birthday anymore.
my mood just dropped to a low after finding out about the people in smu business.
wah suay like shit you know i hate smu business i want to get out of it even before im in it :(

well anyway my birthday was spent doing smu cip at jurong point.
met jin dao and yihui early at jurong then our balloon sculpturing preparation started at around 10.
wah damn tiring HAHA.
spent hours making the balloon sculptures till like 6 in the morning.
thank you to the seniors for getting this delicious sara lee strawberry cheesecake pie/cake and singing happy birthday for me and this other girl at midnight :D
had macs breakfast with my team then yihui and jeannie came our to my place to sleep.
wah it was a bloody struggle getting home man was damndamndamn tired :(
we got like 1.5 hours sleep then got up again to go back to jurong point for our event where we stood for hours until our feet ached like shit.
but it was very nice seeing the public so attracted to our sculptures and tons of people came to take photos and buy balloons.
the profession balloon sculpturers damn xin ku lah make balloons non stop for like 8 hours!
but damn cool lah they made all these miniatures monkeys, giraffes, princess, ninja turtle?!?!, ariel the mermaid, bears, REALLY CUTE snakes, dogs, ladybugs etc!
really didnt know you could make such things with balloons, super interesting :D

left at 6 and went down to meet fiona at bugis.
totally konked out on the train HAHA.
had dinner at noodles empire at illuma, shopped around bugis junction then went for desert at tom palette at shaw tower.
SUPER YUMMY ICE CREAM, somewhat similar to island creamery's.
thanks to fiona for bringing me there after reading about it in the papers :D
left bugis at like 11 plus and was superrrrrrrrrr exhausted omg.

reached home, settled some stuff online and proceeded to die on the bed HAHA.
woke up at like 3 plus this afternoon WOOHOO SHIOK and went to ikea with my family <3
love these rare family outings of ours, simple but makes me feel so happy to spend time with my mum and dad.
and we always eat good food heh!

ultra mega shit picture of me but whatever love my dad <3
my mum doesnt like taking pictures, that shy old woman HAHA

konichiwa.
past few days have been tiring!

fund raising from 11-9 on monday and tues at woodlands and jurong.
but during the times im free, ive been watching this new korean drama that i came across.
gosh how damn long has it been since i last watched a korean drama HAHAHA.
but this time im watching a korean law drama called partner with lee dong wook inside heh heh heh.
but surprisingly its quite nice and funny lah, i actually managed to survive through 5 episodes so should be able to finish the whole drama without feeling too irritated.
luckily only 16 episodes!

yesterday

left home early at like 10 plus to meet leon gim!!! :D
went from bugis to orchard central to ion.
YOU KNOW ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I WENT TOWN FOR LEISURE :(
sigh and of course ive not been to orchard central and ion :x
went to eat at boteju or something at orchard central.
wow expensive but delicioussssssssss.
had the pork omu soba :D:D:D
but the food there like all damn ex leh :(

then went to ion and explored the place, its a really well planned place actually.
they have it linked up to the mrt, wheelock and have accesible and convenient entrances.
bought shoes from rubi which is basically cotton on opening a shop selling only their shoes and accesories.
had dunkin donuts and marvellous cream too yummmmm.
but damn freaking full after that lah.
will go back solely for the purpose of eating all the food at the B4 food hall!!!!
so many japanese snacks there <3

then at 4 plus went down to marina barrage for a blackjack section outing heh heh heh.
ice breaker, frissbee, snacks AND TONS OF CAMWHORING.
wow thanks to sherlyn and robert who have those like pro cameras and were our photographers for the day :D:D
then left to go city hall.
the group split first so that one group gets a table first and the other group wait for our friend to join us but after that I LEAD THEM TO THE WRONG TIMBRE IM SO SORRY FRIENDS :(
brought them to the art house one cause i didnt realise they were at the substation one.
MY BAD MY BAD.
so that was alot of time and energy wasted but we still had a good time :D
was so anticipating good fellas but they came on at like 11?!
gosh and some of the people had to leave so we only heard like ONE SONG.
WHAT A WASTE OH MY GOD.
but at least now i know good fellas play at the substation timbre on thurs and at the arthouse timbre on fridays.
IM GOING TO GO LISTEN TO THEM FOR ONE FULL SET ONCE AND FOR ALL!!
but the crowd yesteday was pretty blehhh god knows why really they are so awesome.
i remember the time we heard them at milestone at the arthouse everyone was singing, jumping and cheering man that was real awesome :DDDDDD

thank you sook xian for pei-ing me to the bus stop instead of taking bus elsewhere heh heh :DDDD
reached home at like 12 plus feeling TOTALLY WIPED OUT.
wah lao eh been out since 10 plus in the morning walk here walk there :(

but its ok i had a good 12 hours sleep yay!!
later tonight theres the stayover cip event at jurong point argh no sleep for us :(
then tmr night meeting fiona for dinner :D

ja ne heh heh!

Monday, July 20, 2009

hello actually i got back from sports camp on saturday but didnt feel like blogging :/
sports camp was not bad lah, tried alot of sports!
and realised im interested in softball/floorball/tennis :D
besides the sports camp's itinery quite alot of interesting things also happened within those 4 days from rochor tau huay which is always awesome, sleeping on seminar floor which turns out to be very comfy, renting a mini van, going into old changi hospital THREE TIMES WAH LAO EH, hong cha long yan from changi vilage hawker centre yum and there was of course the drinking games on the last night.
luckily i never lose much heh heh if not i would have to drink until i turn into those siao langs in the middle of the room dancing and falling off tables.
so camp finished at like 7 and i went home for dinner and went online then knocked off at liek 11 plus.
then i had a glorious dreamless 14 hours sleep which i have not had in freaking long and it felt awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :DDDDDDD

then had a family dinner at some hotel for my grandma's birthday <3
nice to see we cousins talking more and more cause the younger ones and growing up and we have more things in common to talk about :D
and gosh so many of my younger cousins are going to grow up looking really pretty/handsome, proud of them man!

then on tues after career services, met yihui and we two starving people hurry made our way to raffles city mos burger.
and accesorize's half price sale is here!!!!
but it was freaking crowded so i barely looked, i'll try and go back another time but like not free lah wah lao.
seems like there's quite alot of sale going on but ive not gone shopping in ages!!!! :(
i can only buy online from home HAHA.

ok time for me to get ready and go for my cip fund raising AHHHHH.
shit man like 10 hours of fund raising!!

what i left incomplete as a draft last night:

wow its 12.37 and im trying to get this damn game downloaded into my old laptop so that i can clock in some hours in it with joan tay before i catch some sleep and go to smu tmr.
my inner geek always displays itself when im with joan tay HAHAHA.
gosh i remember the days in sec 2/3, which is like FIVE years ago omgggggggggg, where we used to like read books and manga together and spam anime HAHAHA.
gosh those were the days and we always play arcade together!
wow we always have these phases where we are damn freaking into a game and we spam money just trying to complete it HAHA.
i remember the time when we were damn into the capcom joss stick game where you must maneuver your plane and shoot the enemy aircrafts while collecting like power up tokens.
freaking funny man we used to play such silly games too <3

good morning:

wow i basically sucked at the game that i was playing with joan tay HAHAHA.
and it caused me to sleep at like 3 plus sigh i need to recharge before sports camp!!!!!
the only game i think i ever truly played was maplestory which was eons ago omg but at least i knew how to play it and everything HAHA.
but oh well i shall tackle the game again after i come back from my sports camp which ends on sat!

and omg all my jap dramas are taking damn long to update so i've just been youtubeing mystery jets and xing guang da dao 5 these few days HEH HEH HEH.
i love chinese singing competitions you know!
not really sure why but i guess it makes me happy when they sing all these oldies and im like OHHHHHH YEAYEAYEA I KNOW THIS SONG WHEN I WAS IN LIKE PRI SCHOOL!
and its always nice to listen to good singers eh :D

then on sunday

went down to lois's church with michelle lai and shun yee to support lois in her performance.
wow very nice!
i have to say her church gave one of the clearest most considerate message to the public about christianity.
i have to admit that i still dont believe but i always just patronise and go.
but please dont expect to convert me!
then went for botak jones supper woohoo.
WE WERE STUFFED.
wah lao eh we were like spamming fries at 11pm i think my stomach was going to just die on me HAHA.
then we all got a free ride home from lois's dad, thanks so much <3

ok got to hurry get ready to go smu, AGAIN.
some career services orientation but dont think its the fun kind HAHA.
alright adios amigos heh :D

Saturday, July 11, 2009

i just turned on the radio and heard the english version of wonder girl's nobody on 98.7.
i was like HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL.
i was considerably disturbed and annoyed actually HAHA.
yes i know the song is catchy and all wonderful but the song came out like a year ago and it already created an immense craze in korean, whats up with making such a big deal of it now gosh.
and it was all over ftb too sigh.

ANYWAY

so basically thursday was spent waking up pretty early and going down to simei at 2 for cip related matters.
had dinner after that with yihui at eastpoint, walked around and managed to come across the hairband that i lost in the cinema with qian so i was super happy and immediately bought it and got some yummy mango ice kimo.
which is basically the same concept as the flavoured shaved ice from heeren and equally delicious and in small individual portions <3

friday
met to get tons of sleep and wake up late but my biological clock decided to start sounding its alarm at like 11 in the morning sigh.
stayed at home and basically just spammed the internet before heading out to meet jodie and michelle lai for dinner.
but turns out it was some early birthday surprise thing for me and they ended up coming over to my place and making wantons?!?! HAHHAHAA MICHELLE LAI AND HER RETARDED IDEAS.
cause they wont be in singapore during my birthday and ive got smu cip stuff on my birthday too anyway.
they were all prepared with the dough and ingredients however we still had to do some major finish up before we could actually eat the damn wantons which was like 10pm.
they like sang songs and read silly poems all the in name of trying to celebrate my birthday for me and i appreciate it so very much <3
walked them off at 11 plus and like just knocked out when i reached home.

today

woke up early at like 7 plus for breakfast with my parents then my facial.
took bus home myself and took a detour walking around westmall, which is like my ultimate favourite alone time activity heh, and buying some stuff for my camps.
turns out i forgot all about my driving at 12 plus while i was home spamming mystery jets who are my current repeat-on-ipod band.
i think their evolution is worth anticipating cause they are still young and their latest album is way awesome really <3

blaine harrison, the awesomest frontman with spina bifida(its a type of disability).
a bonus would be his gorgeous face behind his CURRENTLY edward scizzorhand hair HAHA but still awesome.
damn it i missed them when they came to singapore in jan/feb this year.
TICKETS WERE ONLY LIKE 40 BUCKS ARGH.
really need to start looking out at what bands zouk brings into singapore :(

then went down to simei again at 3 for another cip related training.
had dinner with yihui again at eastpoint heh heh <3
left at around 9 and took the long train ride home, hope i didnt drool while sleeping or something HA.

Friday, July 10, 2009

last night while talking to yihui over dinner, it dawned on me that i really regret the decision for putting business first choice in smu.
it was because of a misconception that i came to know of that made me rush my smu application and put business first choice then accountancy second choice, WHICH IS PLAIN STUPID REALLY CAUSE ACCOUNTANCY IS HARDER TO GET INTO.
well its not like it is guaranteed that if i were to put accountancy first choice i would even get in but accountancy is definitely something that i would prefer doing but i did not have sufficient info early enough to come to that decision.

sigh but now im stuck in business, well just have to cope with it :/

off to meet michelle lai and jodie for dinner!

Thursday, July 09, 2009

hello!
actually got back from freshmen teambuilding camp (ftb) yesterday at like 5pm but then i had to rush out for my sports camp pre-camp dinner.
damn shiok lah from east coast obs got shuttle bus to like jurong, smu, bedok, amk.

wow ok i must say i appreciated the camp much more after it ended!
although we missed out on the more exciting activities like rafting and high elements cause it rained like EVERYDAY AROUND LUNCH TIME but omg i miss my team so muchhhhhhh.
we may not be the loudest or whatever but we work so awesome-ly (doubt there's such a word HAHAHA) together omg and definitely ftb is slightly different from other orientation camps cause it sincerely wishes to teach you alot of important values that we'll definitely need in smu.
i feel so lucky to have met this bunch of people and have them as my teammates <3
always so supportive, encouraging and never complained during all the tough challenges that required alot of sacrifice from each member and omg the final challenge along east coast area really tested our physical strength but we pulled through as a team yo <3
TRY RUNNING WITH YOURS HANDS LINKED ITS FREAKING DIFFICULT.
running by yourself with your group is totally fine but try having 12 people and linking up and running you'll realise like WHY THE HELL IS IT SO TOUGH?!
and we had to do that between all the stations omg heh.
but actually i think everyone from ftb run 1 were very friendly, helpful, encouraging and damn good at cheering!!
i actually feel lucky that i chose run 1 instead of the rest <3
maybe at first we were all abit shy shy to cheer but wah lao eh towards the end we were cheering like crazy and just dancing around and forming those long trains and just running around the whole place singing damn fun!
i think i sound like a very sexy man now :D

campfire was also damn damn fun and high <3
and the smu performances from the samba club and some martial arts club were damn nice.
wah everyone got damn high and dancing around during the samba performance HAHA.
and when music was playing everyone was also singing and clapping around <3

i think even though there was a lack of fun orientation games but instead through more challenging activities and a different style of approach, ftb was really memorable for me and really made me look forward to smu life! :D

then went for my sports camp pre-camp dinner and i was abit stunned cause like sudden change of atmosphere and people within one day.
but i shall keep an open mind and continue bringing my enthusiasism to sports camp and hopefully it'll be as good as ftb :D

and hope our national day fireworks + espionage bash plans will materialise <3
and need to catch up on more sleep and drink more redoxon so that i wont fall sick man cause like july is just packed with my 2 remaining sports and business camp + my cip event.
and on weekends also must catch up with people so like everyday ive got a triangle on my july calendar in my phone sigh.
i feel abit like im in a dream cause im just always on the move and experiencing new things and never really get the chance to settle down and soak it all it.
but yea well quite looking forward to school i guess, dont really know what to expect really!

Sunday, July 05, 2009

last night i was just randomly flicking through the tv channels cause saturdays has the most boring shows of the week when i came across the japan video music awards 2009 on mtv china HAHA.
i was trying to get videos of the award show a few weeks back but to no avail so i was like damndamndamn excited when i came across it half an hour into the show.
so i sat patiently through some of the bad moments of the award show: insane japanese rockers, high pitched screaming female presenters and awkward moments between foreign performers and japanese hosts and finally remioromen came on!!!!!!!!!!
they were the second last performers, just before the the black eyed peas.
they performed sakura <3

the graphics were super gorgeous i must say <3
we seem to have similar tastes when it comes to colour and design schemes
but anyway the crowd was awesome really i so wish i was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and gosh the lyrics just came pouring out of my mouth without me realising cause i normally suck at foreign languages i cant seem to remember the lyrics.
but the lyrics are so sweet so i guess it left a deep impression on me.
i would say the best performances that night were remioromen, katy perry and black eyed peas.
they got the crowd absolutely high, clapping and waving away, which is what japanese audiences always do.
they have synchronised sideway waving, clapping and like back and forward arm movements in the air or something.
ok sorry im very bad at describing :x
but it makes me feel so happy when i see them do that cause i think its a very polite way of expressing that the crowd enjoys the music.
but they only do it during upbeat music and during ballads they will listen quietly and maybe sing along and only clap at the end.

just came across the video clip of their vma performance on youtube!
gosh its damn hard to find japanese things on youtube cause they have fewer foreigner followers as compared to the korean industry or something.
all the japanese videos are in japanese so its damn hard :(

but damn it embedding has been disabled so i cant put it up here for my enjoyment :(

the other day when i was with qian i also dropped by heeren hmv to find the remioroment compilation album that ive been looking for but couldnt find at the citylink mall branch.
when i saw the cover i was like AHHHHHHHHH SINGAPORE ACTUALLY HAS IT OMG! <3
and then i saw the price and it was 81 bucks.
WTH SERIOUSLY :(
damn it i hate it when its imported from japan so its more expensive and there isnt going to be an asian version cause remioromen does not have that level of international popularity :(

ok gosh i must stop HAHA.

Saturday, July 04, 2009

thanks to stumbleupon toolbar which qian told me about ages ago but i only got it like half an hour ago cause im totally BORED and running out of things to do online.
turns out that in a natural smile, people's eyes become 'squished'.
now no wonder everytime i thought i gave a good genuine smile in the photos, they all turn out like i blinked or you just see a line as my eyes.
damn it why am i destined to a miserable fate of small eyes :(

on another hand, what awesome artwork (:

and earth at night <3

wow and i think its really awesome how ive liked every single website that stumbleupon has brought me to so far based on the few categories i expressed interest in.
they are really able to pretty much understand my interests and capture my attention and gain my support.
i remember learning this in gp, how creepy yet impressive.
i realised im someone who is really afraid of loss.
cant handle it at all.
even with i guess insignificant things such as the contacts in my phone or losing my wallet, i remember i couldnt deal with these things when i was younger.
i believe im slightly better now but i know ive never been good at letting go of things and moving on.
i just wallow in misery actually HAHA.
i believe im not the type of psycho girls who cant let go then go all stalker but im the type that would just keep it to myself and just be miserable all day every day or something :/

just imagining what if i were to lose my parents, i think i would just go insane.
i cant imagine such a thing and i know i cant even handle such a thought.
its absolutely terrifying, i just dont have that courage.

anyway,
exhausted from today, been out from 8 plus in the morning till 9 plus at night.
had my smu cip event bonding day together from 8 plus to 1 plus (:
then went to ps with yihui and some of my group mates then went to cine to meet qian.
transformers!
i can believe i managed to slip into moments of blissful unconsciousness during the movie HAHA.
amidst all the gunshots and explosions i cant believe i managed to sleep.
the SUPER COMFORTABLE cine theatre chairs definitely was one of the factores.
although i can like hear everything but when i close my eyes wow i felt so comfortable and relaxed.
but i woke up after like 5 mins lah HAHA.
i was like 'wake up you dumbass why are you sleeping during transformers?!'
ok lah the movie was not bad but the first movie was DEFINITELY better.
at least they were not selling megan fox's body so blatantly.
but one thing that i think the second movie did better was the actions scenes between the robots which were clearer and had more screentime.
IT WAS SO COOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
and when optimas prime like 'upgraded' i was like 'WAH DAMN COOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL' heh.
HAHAHA oh my gosh i sound so like some machinery fan.

and damn it i left my hairband in the cinema.
WHY AM I ALWAYS LOSING HAIRBANDS/HAIRTIES/CLIPS ETC.
really sick of losing all my hair accesories sigh.
then went around town during some shopping that we had to do and before we know it it was like going to be 8 and we told our family we would be home for dinner.
went to run some errands on my own in westmall and reached home at 9 plus feeling totally wiped out.

and yesterday met cherlyn and fiona for timbre.
pizza was good, chicken wings couldnt go wrong and the music was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
i think they were called acoustic trip, SO DAMN AWESOME and yet they went unappreciated and that really pissed me off.
but they knew i was always listening and clapping for them so i hope it made them feel slightly better.
a huge bunch of drunk middle aged crazy ang mohs definitely didnt make things better and they even took over the stage from them and wrecked havoc.
such assholes seriously.
then went to have cherlyn's birthday cake at the old parliament house and took pictures at the steps HAHAHA.
left at around 11 and took a bus home.
ended up sleeping at like 1 plus, woke up at 2 plus suddenly, had trouble sleeping and woke up at 7.
I WAS TOTALLY ZOMBIE-FIED.
but i still dragged myself down to smu.
had to slap myself a couple of times to bring me back to earth.

my weekend shall be spent recharging then its off for 3 day freshman teambuilding camp on monday then more cip days right after i get back.
GAMBATTE HEH.

Thursday, July 02, 2009

there's the saying 'opposites attract'.
but i've come to believe that thats bullshit.
i think that people are definitely more suited for each other when they have similarities, be it similaries in beliefs, interests, tastes and style etc.
i wonder if there is really someone out there that is like me and we can live our lives together happily, supporting each other wholeheartedly because we believe in the same things.
how depressing :/
but i shall be waiting patiently.

A smiling face, a crying face,
a show of courage, a show of power,
the fact is that I love you.

aww.
today, went to smu again this time for library training.
wah lao eh i was late so i was running from city hall mrt all the way to li ka shing library and up to the 5th floor where the training was held.
i was like all gross and sweaty when i opened the door and training had already started sigh how embarassing.
and you know that disgusting feeling after you ran around and settle down in a cold area and you're really hot and sweaty.
i was like the only one moving frantically and wiping my sweat while everyone was just calm and comfortable.

the training ended at 4 plus then went to meet qian at ps.
got 3 more fbts cause i need new ones plus my 3 day ftb camp actually requires 5 pairs of shorts omg.
walked around spotlight then joan tay joined us and we had dinner at xin wang.
wah lao i was damn not hungry yet i went to order spicy pork dice rice i was so insane i only order that when im starving.
ended up dabaoing then went to sing karaoke.
wow spammage of old chinese hokkien canto songs and really lame songs thanks to qian HAHA.
left at 11 plus and took the bus home, had a nice nap on it heh.
need to rest more and gear up for the camps.

tmr, meeting fiona and cherlyn for timbre.
and back to watching remioromen's recent concert in tokyo <333333333333
