i was still happily in my birthday mood, UNTIL LAST NIGHT JOAN TAY SPOILT IT FOR ME AND REMINDED ME THAT IT'S NOW GHOST FESTIVAL.
yes the ghost festival started ON MY BIRTHDAY.
and i just realised that they showed maggi and me on the starting of the ghost festival, maybe to portray ghosts to be super duper friendly!

i love the pork from the katsu don from the cozy corner from coro.

qian gave me 1 piece from her katsu don and WAHHHHHHHHHH damn nice man!
not just like normal pork, it was just DELICIOUS. :D:D

my seal carving was horrible!

OK LIKE.
i might have screwed up my chinese Os LISTENING COMPREHENSION.
like ok so when the thing told us to stop, I HAVENT EVEN FINISH SHADING QUESTION 9 AND 10.
so i like hurriedly shaded it in.
and i dont even know if i shaded the right ones cause i was panicking.
then i was like secretly chionging through and checking my answers while the woman started collecting the papers and turnsout question six was wrong!
OR AT LEAST I THOUGHT I SAW IT WAS WRONG.
so i was trying to change it from D to A.
but like turns out that i accidentally changed my quesiton SEVEN from D to A.
so i had to changed my question seven from A back to D and change my quesiton six from D to A.
and by this time, the woman was standing over me and waiting for me and i thought she was going to say im cheating or something!
i was like shaking lah.
so now.
I DONT EVEN KNOW IF I SHADED MY LISTENING COMPREHENSION ANSWERS CORRECTLY.
i was like taking my time to think over the answers and writing them in the bookle.
i'm sure of my answers but what if i shaded them wrong.

oh yes just go ahead and add me to the million feet long list of johnny depp fans.
I LOVE HIM.
GOSH THE MOVIE WAS FANTASTICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC :D
and JUST IN CASE, you have like no bloody idea what the movie is like.
watch this EXCITING TRAILER! :D

everything rolled into one and it was the best pirate movie ever!
it was kind of long, pass 2 hours.

if you watch it, you will be VERY upset.

yes so i'm watching the repeat of the germany vs portugal match.
YAY GREAT MATCH FOR A GREAT TEAM.
there was goals, there was veryvery sweet friendliness between the coaches and there was a german win- now how nice is that :D

france is supersupersuper unlucky- you lose your star players, you missed 2 veryvery close goals near the end of extra time and 1 penalty hit the crossbar but didnt go pass the line.
and italy is supersupersuper lucky- only have to get pass australia and ukraine to go semis, somemore only win by penalty at the 93rd min, so lucky can notice a slack in the german's defence and make use of it in the last 2 mins, then win not cause your penalties damn good but because the french player suey.
no wonder i fell asleep lah.
and there was nothing really perky about the game, unlike the germany games!
the german fans are always SINGING AND CHEERING AND SUPPORTING THE TEAM and the germany games are always very lively and noisy, esp when germany is heading towards the goal.
but non-germany matches are as silent as a grave.
i'm not used to silent games, it doesnt even feel normal when i dont hear cheers.
no wonder i fell asleep somewhere in the match lah.
BUT NONETHELESS, yes italy deserved the win for the match more than france.

GERMANY WONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN :D
GERMANY 3 PORTUGAL 1
YES THEY DESERVED IT (:
yay germany has retained some pride and clinched the 3rd place and it was such a sweet ending for germany :D:D
and they even celebrated with the lovely bowling thing and loads of dancing and singing :D:D::D
but like qian and i were rather sad that klinsmann sub-ed off klose, podolski and schweinsteiger for like unknown people.
but one unknown player was so adorable!
something jansen, number 2 :D
and i was quite sad that oliver kahn played instead, he saved some real good goals but i rather see lehmannnnnnn (:
and i'm being influenced by qian, i think lehmann looks quite ok (:
i think his EYES ARE VERY DREAMY and he's talltalltall-1.9m
but qian likes fredrich, HAHAH.
BUT ANYWAYS,
THE GOALS WERE FANTASTIC.
1st goal: schweinsteiger- he like brought the ball around the players and he was like metres from the penalty box, and BAM the ball shot right into the net.
2nd goal: free kick by schweinsteiger- he shot it nice and hard and the portugal defender couldnt keep it out with its speed and angle and he kind of like shot it in instead and it became an own goal.
3rd goal: schweinsteiger AGAIN- he practically did the same thing like the first goal and shot in yet another beautiful box metres from the penalty box, and this time the shot was even more difficult for the goalie to catch.
AND BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER GOT MAN OF THE MATCHHHHHHHHHH :D
and they even have 14 goals now!
3 more than any other team with just sunday's final to play.
and they have so many beautiful goals too!
lahm's goal against costa rica, it was shot right in from the left side of the field outside the penalty box.
fring's goal against costa rica, shot it straight in from outside the penalty box.
neuville's last min goal against poland.
klose's goal against ecuador, the one that mertesacker kicked the from the left all the way towards the right and schweinsteiger ran up to spin it towards klose before it went out for a goalkick.
podolski's goal against sweden, the one where klose gathered 3 defenders towards him and nudged the ball towards podolski.
klose's equaliser against argentina.
and now schweinsteiger's 2 hard shots.
i hope germany wins golden boot and like most goals of the touranament along with podolski's best young player award and maybe even golden ball! :D:D

today was a relatively good day.
depends on how you see it.
school was fun.
took my mind off things for awhile.
but when i picked up the newspaper it was a whole different thing.
and i heard bad comments about the german team.
well, to those who think the german team were sore losers during ystd's match.
do yourself a favour and either open your eyes bigger or read the players' and coaaches' quotes.
at least school started off well.
i bought myself a vitasoy.
i heard that france won.
and that means portugal lost.
i know that italy has a somewhat lesser chance now.
deniseliang told me a good joke and i'm supposed to put it here but i've forgotten the joke.
i knew how to do amath although i didnt listen to today's lesson.
deniseliang and i wrote a really funny chinese song, could never finish singing it cause we'll burst out laughing before we can reach the end.
i understood logic gates and i even taught deniseliang!
i was inspired to be a teacher or 5 seconds before deniseliang told me my students would die.
i had done all the chem worksheets that logan went through.
and i never knew that sc male teachers were so anti-italy.
jeow called italy a bunch of actors and said that their match-fixing may cause the players to lose their football playing license.
johari linked anything relatively negative in ystd's bio lesson to italy, like decomposition, parasites, insects and combustion of the italy flag.
and i feel much better now cause i'm stuffing myself with food, good music and thoughts of topshop sale.

i knew how to do amath although i didnt listen to today's lesson.
deniseliang and i wrote a really funny chinese song, could never finish singing it cause we'll burst out laughing before we can reach the end.
i understood logic gates and i even taught deniseliang!
i was inspired to be a teacher or 5 seconds before deniseliang told me my students would die.
i had done all the chem worksheets that logan went through.
and i never knew that sc male teachers were so anti-italy.
jeow called italy a bunch of actors and said that their match-fixing may cause the players to lose their football playing license.
johari linked anything relatively negative in ystd's bio lesson to italy, like decomposition, parasites, insects and combustion of the italy flag.
and i feel much better now cause i'm stuffing myself with food, good music and thoughts of topshop sale.

thanks to some country's media footage, fifa was pressurised to do something and so they did, but only gave him minimum punishment.

i was feeling quite pissed just now.

but talking to shun yee and qian helped alotalot today.
and everytime i hear something that pisses me off, i'm going to BREATHE IN AND BREATHE OUT and bite my lip to make sure i dont say anything.
i'm just so freaking unlucky and things never go my way, so its time to live with the bad fate.
and i'm now treating myself to a can of vanilla coke, which is freaking fattening but im not really in a mood to really bother.
and i'm also going to treat myself to some shopping when topshop and dorothy perkins start their sale soon.
anyways,
i still have to do the barker paper but i feel like sleeping or something.
its like i thought mrs tan wanted us to do both cedar and barker so i started off with cedar first and i havent finish the barker paper.

It might not have been the prettiest match to watch, and we weren't at our best in front of goal, but tactically neither team made many mistakes. Penalties always comes down to luck. I think that it was a fascinating match. I'm still breathless – I can hardly speak. It was an incredible game, and we were maybe a little lucky to win. We saw how the Argentinians came forward on the break whenever we sat back. In the second half, things were a lot better for us. It was tough for us forwards today, as the muggy conditions held us back a bit. I had an accidental collision with the goalkeeper and got cramp in my calves, which is why I had to come off.

I'm very happy that we won the match, and the fans we have are really great. We can't celebrate for too long, though – we need to prepare for the next match. It was a tense game, and a tough one as well. I think that I showed today just how much I love my football. The coach told me to go out and have some fun.

That was the toughest match to date for us in this tournament. In the end, we just had a bit more luck than they did, as that’s all that it comes down to with penalties. We showed some typically German qualities today and got back into the game after we fell behind. Argentina took the chance they had, we took ours and we ended up winning.

We knew that we could turn the tide if we went behind. We're in the semis now, which probably no-one was expecting. Jens Lehmann is the kind of goalkeeper who exudes self-belief, and we all had every confidence in him too. The little gesture between Oli Kahn and Jens shows just how far this team has progressed.
Bastian SCHWEINSTEIGER (GER)
It was party-time in the changing room – we were dancing around, there was music playing, it was real fun. It was so good, the way the lads just stepped up and calmly slotted the penalties in. They put them away really well. We knew that the fewer mistakes we made, the easier it would be. We waited for some space to open up on the pitch and managed to win most of the ball at the back. We respect all of the teams left in the competition, but we aren't afraid of any of them. We owe Italy one as well. Today was a typical draw. We were surprised at the way Argentina lined up, and that showed that they had a lot of respect for us.
Torsten FRINGS (GER)
The game was a war of attrition. We had to give it our all today, and turned the match in our favour at the end.
Lukas PODOLSKI (GER)
The Argentinians played very well in defence but didn't create many chances up front. We want to win the World Cup now, whatever it takes.

My heart just feels empty because we deserved more than a draw. We did the best we could but we didn’t have any luck. Penalties are a lottery but at the same time they’re part of the game. We’ve got a great side and we can get our revenge in four years' time.

We played really well and it hurts so much to lose. The boys are really down because we’ve got an exceptional team, we gave it everything we had out there and we deserved so much more. Germany weren't better than us and the game was decided by the smallest of details. For me, we’ve had a disappointing tournament because we’ve been knocked out. That said, I’m very proud to be part of this group. I’m not really bothered who wins it now to be honest. I support Argentina and that’s it.

Naturally I’m very angry - we’ve just been eliminated. The fact that we played well doesn’t make it feel any better either. They attacked twice and scored a goal but Argentina were the better side. We put in a good performance but it doesn’t mean anything because we lost, and there’s nothing that has happened today that will make me feel any better about it.

It hurts a lot to lose like that. We didn’t deserve it but we gave it all we had. I really don’t know why we lost. And don’t ask me if I think Germany will win the World Cup or not because the truth is I really couldn’t care less.

We tried to play and represent the country as well as we could. I’ve got nothing to say because if you watch the game you’ll see that we were the better team. We showed we’re up there with the best teams in the world, and in my opinion there’s no such a thing as justice in football.

We’ve had a great World Cup and we were a great side, one that improved with every game, but now we’ve got nothing to show for it. For me, I thought we played well. Losing is all part of the game but you always need some luck and we didn’t get any. They kept their heads better than we did in the penalties. The dream is over, and it’s very hard to say that. We’ve done well overall, even though we all hoped we could get further. Although we know we lost, Germany weren’t better than us. They just had more luck in the penalties, that’s all.
