wah i can say goodbye to my july already cause smu has successfully gobbled it up.
ive got ftb camp, sports camp, business camp and this cip event that eats up around 9 days roughly within a month.
although i kind of asked for it since i signed up but im just taking this as a chance to open up to new experiences :D
my birthday will also be spent doing something smu related which is the cip event that i signed up for which will clear my 80 hours of required cip.
but im definitely going to go on some ocip trip during my time as a smu student :D

last saturday
deborah's birthday chalet :D
phototaking on the supposedly no phototaking jetty HAHA, playing with sand toys with deborah's little sis that i never knew were so cool now cause i never had sand toys to play with when i was young, pizza and drinks, twister, changi village, nasi lemak, pranks, billionaire, harold and kumar, sleep at 630 in the morning, wake up at 11 plus, listening to music at the balcony, home at like 3pm.

sunday

reached home at like 3 plus after dropping qian and opy and watched an episode of boss HEH.
then i knocked out and slept for a couple of hours and thus was like half an hour late for my appointment with michelle lai :x

went down to nook cafe where michelle lai works and had dinner there.
i really like spending time there with her while she works, hours can pass just accompanying her like that <3
splurged another like 18 bucks there HAHA.
MICHELLE LAI IVE CONTRIBUTED SO MUCH TO YOUR CAFE'S PROFITS.
wrapped some of my presents for my colleagues there too, brought some there cause i knew i'll be spending quite a while there later no time to wrap when i get home.
left at 9 plus and although the hillview area is somewhat creepy at night i also find it pretty serene.
and will remioromen music accomopanying me, it was an awesome journey home (:
came back and finished wrapping the presents and somehow slept at 1 plus omg.

monday
last day of work at citibank!
i was kind of relieved cause i felt like i could finally take a break before uni but im also sad cause i'll really miss the people at work, especially the redemption team that i sit with.
such awesome people who have been very kind and nice to me :D
had lunch again with redemption team, this time at astons.
they treated me again!
im very very thankful for always taking care of me cause im younger.
gave out the little wrapped up gifts of chocolate and sweets to the people whom ive worked with in citibank and who have helped me over the past like 6 months and i was also very surprised to get gifts in return (:









today

woke up as early as i normally have to when i had work sigh.
then went down to city hall mrt to meet leon gim and went to smu for our id verification and card collection day.
soon yihui joined us and it was basically was an information overload day where we finally settled our matriculation, had our community service talk and were overwhelmed with all the booths everywhere.
settled my camps which are freshmen teambuilding, sports camp and business camp.
plus this cip event i signed up for called balloons of bliss (BOB) where balloon sculption and twisting is a form of what we wish to entertain the children from the beneficiaries with and there will be some showcase at jurong point on my birthday.
but alot of days will be eaten up for fundraising, training and the preparation for the finale at jurong point but it seems quite meaningful (:
and i was totally won over by their presentation especially their video with all the children inside HAHA.

hanged around smu till 4 plus then went down to suntec with my new laptop wah lao my arms almost broke.
walked from smu to suntec.
went to carrefour to buy my sleeping bag for ftb but turns out theres no need anymore!!!!!!!!!!!
they will give us a free sleeping bag WAH LAO EH.
but nevermind the sleeping bag 8.90 only HAHA, keep for next time then (:

had dinner at fish and co with huizhen, karen and serina.
there was the fish and co ladies night where a fish and chips comes with a free grilled sambal fish or al fungi sphagetti.
i feel that the ladies night offer isnt very good as compared to other offers by other restaurants like waraku.
the ladies night offer back then was FANTASTIC.
i will really miss these colleagues!
feels so weird not seeing them everyday, but then again smu events is just going to occupy all my time and thoughts so i guess i'll slowly move on.
but working at citibank has been an overall awesome experience, im very thankful for it :D







tmr, got to go down to smu again for library training omg.
i think i'll be going down there quite abit even before school starts sigh.
then meeting qian and joan tay :D

wah lao eh cant i get some normal sleep nowadays.
slept at 3, woke up at 11, read abit of agatha christie on my bed then suddenly got hit by a wave of sleepiness and got sucked into this weird dream about being alone at home in some one room flat then going to some prom and have some adventure that requires battling enemies and hiding in weird locations.
dragged myself out of the dream at like 1.30 and i felt damn odd and freaking sigh :(

wednesday
met yihui for dinner at novena square!
walked around square 2 then had dinner at ichiban boshi yum love that place :D
though i never manage to fill up the loyalty card where you get a stamp if you spend 20 bucks and above :(
went to united square to get some wrapping paper that i needed for my gifts for my colleagues and got some ice cream for desert (:

thursday
came home thinking i could rest and recharge, enjoy some relaxing time online and plan for my gifts but i was spammed and preoccupied with all the stupid smu registration stuff and other details and plans i had to settle and ended up sleeping at 1, feeling tired and achieving my aims set for the night :(

friday
qian and i went down to the milestones flea market to support deborah!
what was supposed to be like just go down and support and check out the flea market turned out into a 630-12 accompany deborah session and try and help out with the stall.
food was delicious, pizza and tappas from timbre.
music was good, towards the end where good fellas played.
awesome awesome covers that just manage to get the crowd dancing and enjoying the music <3
they've got great voices too and playedsome awesome sing-a-long songs (:
they were the house band so played on till like 130 but qian and i were unable to stay cause we had to make it for the last bus, WHICH WE MISSED DAMN.
if i knew i would have just stayed for the music then cabbed home later.
shared cab with qian, bathed and somehow still manage to stay online to surf the net im impressed.
ive not been online till 3am in a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG TIME.
cause somehow during the weekends i end up having to wake up early for something.

wow been so freaking tired these few days, barely kept my eyes open today during work.
came home straight today intending to sleep but HA ended up watching mr brain episode 4 and im going to watch my long awaited majo saiban episode 4 later and complete my damn online matriculation for smu.
last night i was trying to complete some of the matriculation process and ended up sleeping at like 1 which is TOTALLY NOT ENOUGH FOR ME.
cause i had a weird dream about buying chocolates what the heck.

spent last friday staying at home and resting from my redang trip.
basically consisted of alot of time on the computer HAHA.
slept late cause i was youtubeing nobuyuki tsuji who is the young blind pianist who won the van cliburn international piano competition.
i wanted to youtube him ever since i read about him in the papers and i even wrote down notes and reminders in my handphone but i kept forgetting ARGH.
he is seriously a natural pure musical genius, so freaking awesome.
and his performances always touches you (:



this is not the classical music he plays for his competitions and performances but its a self-composed and self-performed piece that he wrote when he was searching for the memory of the time when his father brought him for a walk to sumida river when he was a child.
turns out sumida river is not a very beautiful lake but its amazing how it could be so beautiful for someone with a pure heart.
if only i could find a video of him performing it :(

then saturday had to wake up early to go and check out sim with michelle lai.
it was definitely nice to explore the place and see how its like, the food there is really good too!
had a super delicious lunch that really made my money worth while :D

then rushed down to smu for the introductory talk on quantitative finance.
gosh it sounds very intellectual, challenging and really shows you the core of what finance is about but definitely not for me.
i SUCK at math or programming.

then rushed back home to get ready and go to holland v to have dinner at crystal jade with hong taa.
had frolick HAHAHAHA.
gosh one week without frolick and i cant resist buying it when i seeing it just right next to crystal jade.
then went for hong taa's ocs social night thing.
it was an interesting experience just go and see how its like.
then reached home and like knocked out cause i was exhausted plus i had to walk up at like 5 plus in the morning the next day to go to desaru for some 1 day tour with my family for fathers' day.

sunday was spent in desaru.
wah lao had to wake up at 5 plus in the morning for the 6.30 bus ride and came back home only at like 11 plus at night.
but it was a nice trip out with my family <3
not every place we went was interesting but the desaru fruit farm, dinner and the fireflies boat ride were pretty good :D
and took so many pictures oh my god but just a few that i picked quickly while skimming through my folder.







went to meet yiting yesterday for dinner and terminator salvation.
omg how freaking late am i to watch terminator.
actually its not as bad as people say lah i'll give it like 3.5 stars?
some of the action scenes were really cool, especially the parts involving marcus wright which is the other main male lead in the movie who is actually a robot with a heart.
we rushed around before the movie buying food and we ended up smuggling like roast pork rice from carrefour which only cost like 2 bucks?!
and sushi and cheesecake HAHA.
also tried the saybons crepe, ive always been too stingy to buy from there.
ive only koped the chocolate and banana one from teresa HEH.
tried roast chicken and mushroom yum!
then we walked around ps, cathay area and had a good time just catching up with her then cabbed home at 11 plus.
came home and still rushed some of my matriculation, damn tiring man :(





today went to take a slight detour after getting off at bukit gombak mrt to go buy fish slice mee sua from this store i like then went to an old watch shop on my way home.
i really like going to those old watch shops owned up old men who sell old watches HAHAHA.
ended up buying yet another old-ish watch.
this time its black and rectangular although i couldnt find a nice one from the brand casio so ended up just going for looks and buying some random brand.
12 bucks only sia HAHA.
but its the thought of buying from such a place that counts for me (:

just got back from redang a couple of hours ago.
it was fun, dirty and tiring but it was an awesome experience :D

and i cant believe i spent like 175 ringgit on that stretch of beach when our meals and snorkelling were already included omg.

ive watched it a few times and listened to this song tons of times and have already moved on to remioromen's other less popular songs but this song always gets me seriously.

yesterday was a super busy and tiring day.
met michelle lai for breakfast at 8 in the morning at bukit timah food centre.
surprisingly i enjoyed the feeling of waking up early to have breakfast and it was nice to see alot of people around doing the same thing (:
then went to chu tin with michelle lai and we went to the playground, walked to our favourite highest point and sat around waiting for her colleague to come to open the cafe.
things occured and in the end i stayed at the cafe with michelle lai all the way till 2 plus in the afternoon.
in the beginning it was really fun and relaxing cause only the 2 of us were in the cafe.
we played music, talked crap and i spent 20 bucks there again HAHA.
then customers started coming and because of a lack of staff i helped out!
it was really quite an experience cause it was like a real life version of those restaurant management games i love to play.

then rushed down to west mall to get some errands done and went straight for my driving.
which is still bad HAHA.
i doubt i can pass with my level of carelessness :(

came home bathed and got ready then went to vivo to meet my class :D
dinner at kim gary then went to play pool at arcade.
left at 11 plus and hurry went to sleep cause i still had work today zzzzzzzz.

i realised im actually someone who likes learning.
not in the academic sense but i like to be able to listen and find out new information from people who have sensible things to say.
i guess it means that i like to talk to people who have intellectual or sensible things to say and i will be in awe and would love for them to tell me more and teach me.
maybe thats why i seem to be moving away from the teenage cute guys to being attracted to mature older men or something :/

met yihui on wednesday, had dinner at coffee club and used my 10 bucks coffee club voucher yay :D
tried their miso soft shell crab pasta which is delicious and the crab is huge but the more you eat the more sian you get of it cause the flavour is really strong.
and we shared a ice rambutan which is like the most amazing ice blended drink on earth seriously HAHA.
then dear girl accompanied me to get the list of things i needed, like materials for qian's present and different shoes etc.
went through taka, wisma and far east but was still unable to get another pair of my gold braided myphosis slippers that disappeared into thin air and my beige charles and keith pumps which does not have my size anymore :(
went to relax at shaw outdoor macs, which is a pretty awesome place i must say, then left at 10 plus to take the bus home.
i had to run all the way from borders to my bus stop for my bus and omg my lack of exercise really showed after i got on the bus but i dont know why as i rushed across the empty road, i experienced a sort of pleasant feeling hmm :/
maybe i might enjoy running somewhere inside of me HAHA.

then on thurs i did some shopping on my own!
i realised i actually enjoy shopping and walking around myself.
gives me alot of peace and alone time which i like nowadays (:
went to charles and keith and myphosis at city link mall but still couldnt find my shoes ARGH.
then spent an hour at hmv, wow times flies when you're looking through and enjoying music (:
dont know why i suddenly had a urge to buy a cd, WHICH I VERY RARELY DO.
the last cd i bought was muse and i didnt buy a cd before that since i was p5.
ended up deciding between the new kasabian album which is awesomeeeeeeeeeeee and hayao miyazaki on bossa nova which is music from hayao miyazaki movies turned bossa nova style.
considering that i cant find japanese bossa nova online, i decided to get that cd instead HAHA.

then today met qian for dinner in town and passed her her birthday present (:
hope you like it dear i know its quite poorly made and is like 1/15 in value of something but hope you can find it useful :D

went for my medical check up at raffles hospital today for my smu admission.
wow you really see alot of guai lan people at the hospital and i was only there for 2 hours!
nurses are so awesome seriously.
its really hard to deal with a huge crowd of sick or impatient people whole day, everyday.

and my medical report says im 168 omg!
ok but i think thats a lie cause theres no way im 168 thats way too tall.
maybe i breathed in more when i stood on the height measuring thing.
recently ive not been very glad about my height.
cause it makes me look like a giant when i wear heels.
been looking for a pair of low heels but i rarely compromise when it comes to shoes and the pairs i like are usually those really high heels.
i swear i will buy myself a pair of christian louboutin heels using my pay when i grow up.
cause they are so freaking classy and gorgeous!
i saw a woman wear it at the hospital today and i COULD NOT TAKE MY EYES OF HER SHOES.
the red soles give that extra glamourous touch <3

and today michelle lai came over to place after work, really enjoyed catching up with her <3
its always nice when she comes back and we just laze around and pour out alot of things (:
my parents and i sent her home then went to eat a late dinner.
i was starving and cranky and i really wanted to eat fried rice, which was unavailable cause the stores were all closing so i had to eat ee mee.
and that caused me and my dad to argue HAHA.
but since when have we never argued.
we both have bad tempers and always clash.
but it'll all be ok tmr HAHA.
i still remember the good time my family and my grandma had on sunday night.
its been so long since we spent some good time together as a family.
went to bukit panjang to try this zi cha store which was delicioussssssssss.
then went for a car ride for like hours HAHA.
my mum wanted to go and see how nus and ntu are like at night HAHA.
creepy but fun cause i felt so safe and comfortable in the car with my family!
i really enjoyed sitting safely in the front seat, talking and joking with my family, listening to chinese oldies and singing along with my dad and admiring the REALLY HUGE AND WHITE GORGEOUS FULL MOON.
wow ive never seen the moon so beautiful before, i couldnt take my eyes off it seriously.
cause it was the 15th day of the lunar calendar so the moon is extra big and clear <3


anyway shit time to hurry finish all the remioromen videos i opened and go to bed, oyasumi nasai!

had suntec fish and co dinner with serina ping long travis and huizhen (:
then went to play arcade and shop around with serina.
its been so long since we've played arcade together!
we always play so much crap together during lunch.
and im still wondering whether or not to get that springfield top on sale :/
should not spend so much of my pay though :(
then we went to the marvellous cream or something at citylink mall, the place which sells the japanese ice cream sundae.
we shared mixed berries cheesecake sundae with waffle bowl, DAMN DAMN DAMN NICE.
you would think like quite ex and looks abit complicated and messy but seriously its veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy delicious!
or at least the one we ordered was very nice, so we definitely had a good desert (;
and watching them making the thing is very interesting too!

thursday

met fiona at ps for dinner at the just acia thing with the free flow ice cream and drink.
i felt like i was ripped off there :(
then had some shopping done where i impulsively bought a bag but i shall try and use it longgggggg long then walked around outside.
we were randomly getting excited over the courtesy lion outside cathay when we decided to explore the basment area of smu which is open to the public.
its really awesome cause all the schools are linked up by the basement and there are alot of shops and activities going on downstairs even late at night.
im starting to look forward to smu lifestyle, hope it'll be fun :D
took loads of retarded pictures, its been so long since ive done that HAHA.
then took the bus ride home damn damn tired.
i realised working really drains me, looking forward to taking a break after my last day of work which is on 29 june!
but i'll miss the nice people at work, especially the redemption team that i sit with who always brighten up my day :D

met my mum in town to do some shopping and dinner at crystal jade.
gosh i need low heels so badly!
but im so picky and charles and keith doesnt have the nice one i saw anymore :(
and under my mum's brainwashing and encouragement i bought so many products from the face shop, damn scary!
but i shall use them diligently and how they actually help my face!

today

went to orchid country club with fiona, guan min, samuel, kenneth and lian kai.
played table tennis and tennis with fiona :D
wow i managed to relive the joy i had while playing tennis in cj last time HAHA.
gosh havent played in so long but it seemed to just come naturally to me today so i didnt have much difficulty.
except i still dont know the proper way of playing tennis but still can manage.
feel like picking up tennis in smu!
i expressed interest for floorball, handball, netball and tennis in the smu cca form HAHA.

then we rushed down to textile centre to meet jin dao, hari and xun dong to settle our redang trip with the travel agency.
omg yishun is so freaking far from beach road there and the cab ride cost us 14.50!
but the uncle was so nice and was rushing down for us so i felt very thankful.
redang trip settled! :D
leaving on 15th, which is next next monday then coming back on the 18th.
i really have to thank my colleagues who adviced me so much for the trip :DDDDDD

then we took a detour to kandarhar (or however you spell it heh) street where i bought the yummy mango swiss roll there then went to bugis to meet guan min.
had dinner at hip dinner where there was 1 for 1 main course!
not bad lah quite worth it.
it would have been cheaper and a better deal if the guys controlled themselves and not order all the expensive meaty dishes!
army guys and their insatiable appetite when they book out sigh.
went to play arcade and eat ice cream then went to slack at national library hans.
omg i havent been to the national library since A levels!!!!!!
gosh i used to go there quite alot to do some studying, either at the study lounge or hans.
but it was always useless cause we just ended up talking and eating at hans HAHA.
but it was a memorable experience :D

left at like 10 then went to talk mrt home.
i felt so gross and sticky and disgusting from the sports in the SCORCHING SUN and all the rushing about :(
but took a nice cooling bath and now i shall relax and watch some new jap dramas that i came across!
mr brain starring takuya kimura and mizushima hiro and boss starring erika toda and mizobata junpei.
both detective dramas I LIKEEEEEEEE :D
shall try and keep up with these shows, hope they'll continue to be interesting.
there has been a severe lack of nice jap dramas recently :(

oh god told myself i wouldnt watch the second twilight movie but I SO WANT TO WATCH IT NOW HAHAHA.
