she slowly loses her ability to walk, talk, swallow and hold things.
and i cried because of the friendship between her and her classmates.

watched the movie nana.
only cause matsuyama kenichi had a role in it.

but turns out its not and it's actually very sweet.
it's some famous manga turned anime turned movie.
it's about 2 very different girls, one is all goth and the other one is damn act cute, of the same age and share the same name- nana
they coincidentally meet on some train and became friends and roommates and like help each other with their relationship problems or something.
very sweet actually and the soundtrack is damn nice.
ah so sad i found myself downloading japanese songs.
the only jap thing i originally had was ken hirai in my itunes.

well, although i didnt read the last 2 books of death note and i dont know how kira died, i still know what happened before that.
the whole death note movie thing is very different from the manga actually.
they changed alot of it, probably to fit it into 2 movies, but it was still very well done.
they just changed it to an equally intelligent story and it was a nice movie!

in the manga, i couldnt decide whose side i was on cause kira was drawn until damn hot.
but in the movie he looked like shit and i dont and i think the actor who played L is bloody cute so i was on L's side.
i dont usually go for jap boys but seriously, he's damn cute HAHAHA.
and [spoiler ahead, DONT SAY I NEVER WARN YOU AH] when L suddenly came back to live, cause he actually wasnt dead, i was like how freaking relieved.
i was like YEAYEAYEAYEA! :D

buttttttttt i think if you really want a WHOA experience, read the manga instead.
they cut out ALOT of things that happened in the manga and twisted alot of events but it was still a super interesting movie :D

and there's a little romance so its quite sweet but i saw the ending of the season and it's freaking sad, i totally bawled i think.

i absolutely love this song.
well it's kind of old i think, it came out some time this year.
but i was too preoccupied with muse to check up on placebo.
if i didnt come across this song and recognised the singer was brian, the lead of placebo, i wouldnt have decided to do some catching up on placebo music.
i really like brian's voice, haunting yet still kind of sweet.
it's also extremely unique and can be easily recognised.
the video for this song is pretty good too.
it's kind of scary but it leaves a deep impression on you and i think it provides an interesting insight to people who take drugs.
another good video by placebo is song to say goodbye.
it's definitely one of the saddest videos i've ever watched in my life.

city of delusion was one of the songs in black holes and revelations that i liked immediately after the 1st listen and i'm so satisfied after being able to see dom play the catchy three beats inserts in the song.

and i'm also delighted over the news that many/all rock mags and critics have placed black holes and revelations in top 3 for best album 2006.
maybe different mags have placed the album at different positions in top 3, but i think top 3 is good enough :D

my mum may not let me go to the muse gig, although i already booked the tickets.
i think they dont take the money from the account until you collect the ticket.
she's so worried cause i'm 16 and i'm a girl.
if i go to a rock gig at some ulu field, aka fort canning, i may get gangraped, kidnapped or robbed.

well but it is quite dangerous cause it's the outdoor kind where everyone is squashed together in the crowd and there are no seating tickets.
but seating tickets are so sad.
well the people obviously dont stay seated, they are all standing and jumping but they are limited by the seating barrier and soooooooooooooo far away from matt.

well, actually i wasnt THAT saddened by the news cause i realised that if i go, i wont be upclose.
i've done my research and people at the front barrier get freaking squashed by the people in the middle part.
they are the 'moshers' and they go all jumpy and move-y and crazy, and some idiots crowdsurf there.
so the best place to stand is just behind the middle group, you dont get squashed and you supposedly get a good view.
well that's for other countries, but i believe sg will be as wild.
plus it's on a weekday so i may not have enough time to go down and queue early cause we have jc till like afternoon?
and i have to go all the way home from cj to change and go all the way to fort canning.
so the point is, if i'm not going to be upclose and i cant get near matt, why not i just stay at home and watch footage!
but thats sad cause nothing beats being there live! :(
ah shit i'll dress up like thrash as long as i'm allowed to go! :(

it's all because i'm going alone.
too bad i dont know anyone who likes muse and i dont think any of you all can handle a rock concert or muse's music so i cant bribe you all with a free ticket.
my mum was like 'ask your friends who wants to go. i'll pay!'
and i'm like why would someone want to go to a concert to see people they dont like.
i mean, i wont go to a simple plan concert even if i was given free tickets.
and besides, if you are going to a rock concert, you'll kind of end up alone.
even if you go with a group, with all the jumping and moving and excitment, you'll physically and mentally drift from your group.
you'll definitely get to know the people around you and enjoy the music with them cause we all have a common interest.
and that's why people are all hyped by to go in together but set a place to meet up later after the gig cause they'll separate along the way.
but my mum just cant accept that fact! :(

but anyway, hopefully i can convince my mum cause i've got some tips for going to rock concerts.

but again, if i go i'll be quite far from matt so i still wont be able to capture much.

kind of mysteriously lost it actually.
i only went to the gym once but i've been doing 3 sets of 15 crunches everyday like the newspaper showed but i dont think i could have just lost 1kg like that.
but heck right, i lost weight for free!
maybe worrying about my weight consistently stressed my stomach and it lost weight HAHAHHA.
BUTTTTTTTTT, i kind of have a box of nestle cookies crisps next to me, so i'm like just reaching in to eat one every 5 mins.
ok nevermind i'll try and exercise more and hopefully i'll be 48kg again!

i'm currently youtubeing two very unlikely shows.
death note, the anime not the movie cause i watched like 10 mins of the movie and it's total thrash, and this taiwan drama called silence.

ok i'm not like sucked back into the anime world lah, it's just that death note was the last manga i read and the story is great!
and it's still super new cause it's ongoing in japan and i'm waiting for episode 12 to come out.
it's DAMN EXCITING and alot of people die.
i need stories where people die :x
like thrillers, mysteries and murders.
if not it's damn boring.
yes i know people tell me i'm going to be a murderer next time cause i read so many mystery books.

it's like in a soccer game and the guy shoots and it's like *GASP* OMG and the ball just slips past the goal post and it's like FREAK.
i watched all 9 episodes and saw him consistently produce beautiful clothes and got all the compliments and SHIT he just fell at the last hurdle.
elizabeth hurley, the host, really likes his work and he's probably her favourite.
but ironically he got eliminated in the challege where they had to make a red carpet dress for her.
i really liked the greenish-blue colour he used and the well shaped bare back and the slit on one side with the white net-y lace thing underneath the whole dress.
but i have to admit the fabric was horrible, all stiff and unflowy.
ARGH SHIT i was so sad :(
whats worse is the top 3 people are my least favourite people.
the 2 girls inside makes clothes that i just consistently dislike, and the guy is just gay.
and the woman i didnt like the most won the competition.
and the one that i was supporting during the finals got last.

nonetheless, its still a great show and i absolutely absolutely love the music they use.
some they are like straight out of my nano and others are potential songs that i want to put in :D
